À partir d’une présentation des concepts d’écologie et de marche sonores ainsi que de leur application au jeu vidéo, cet article propose une méthode d’analyse sonore de jeu vidéo. À partir de deux marches sonores au sein d’une des zones jouables du jeu Horizon Zero Dawn (Guerrilla Software, Sony Interactive Entertainment, 2017) trois approches, politique, fonctionnelle et esthétique de l’écologie sonore étudiée sont développées. Si l’approche politique semble pertinente, les approches fonctionnelle et esthétique montrent les limites auxquelles cette méthode d’analyse sonore est confrontée. Des propositions visant à surmonter ces limites sont esquissées en conclusion.
