Kegiatan Jum’at Taqwa merupakan kegiatan yang dilaksanakan setiap hari jum’at pagi yang bergerak dibidang keagamaan.Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan siswa tentang ajaran agama.Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif. Sedangkan teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yairu mendeskripsikan data yang dikumpulkan berupa kata-kata. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi, wawancara, angket, serta dokumentasi. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah 4 orang guru sebagai informan dan 45 siswa sebagai respoden angket.Kegiatan Jum’at Taqwa di SMP Seri Tanjung, sudah dilaksanakan dengan baik. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari jadwal kegiatan jum’at taqwa yang sudah berjalan rutin yakni setiap hari jum’at.Kegiatan ini dapat memberi dampak positif bagi siswa diantaranya siswa dapat memperlancar bacaan surah yasin,siswa dapat membaca dzikir dan siswa mendapat nasihat agama.faktor yang menghambat pada kegiatan ini yakni kurangnya kapasitas tempat pelaksanaan, dan masih ada siswa yang belum lancar membaca surah yasin.Namun Usaha terus dibenahi untuk mengatasi permasalahan faktor penghambat tersebut.
