Abstract
En Canada, la ausencia de un estatuto de prescripcion en materia penal ha permitido, desde la decada de 1990, crear un marco juridico que permite presentar denuncias sobre hechos que se remontan a varias decadas. El articulo se centra en los juicios celebrados en Quebec entre 2001 y 2017 por agresiones sexuales a menores que se cometieron en el ambito familiar entre las decadas de 1950 y 1980. Las actas resultantes, consideradas como un archivo de los silencios de las victimas y de los/las que sabian, permiten analizar las razones de que los hechos no dieran lugar a ninguna reaccion institucional en el momento de la comision del delito. Tambien proporcionan informacion sobre como se pueden romper esos silencios, desde el camino a la denuncia hasta la evaluacion de las palabras en la sala del tribunal.
