This article presents contributions referred to the dynamics of solidarity, \ngratuity and reciprocity that flourish in a system of inequality and exclusion \nthat hits the popular Argentine sectors. It begins with a summary of there \nsearch Habitar el derrumbe: estrategias de supervivencia y mejora de las condiciones \nde bienestar en hogares en situación de vulnerabilidad. Estudio de caso del barrio \nCárcova (Desalvo, 2020). When the opportunities of the labor market and \nthe State lose specific weight, the social framework fosters spaces for \nparticipation and community action, for mutual aid and for the care of girls, \nboys and adolescents to satisfy needs related to wellbeing. The social capital \nand vitality of the socioterritorial organizations are the mattress that sustains \nthe community.
