En didactique des langues, la perspective actionnelle reconnait l’apprenant comme un acteur social dans le sens où celui-ci complète des tâches qui l’amènent à interagir avec des interlocuteurs natifs et non natifs (Conseil de l’Europe, 2001). Le présent article examine comment les techniques théâtrales en français langue seconde (FLS) facilitent les interactions dans la communauté d’apprentissage, en classe, et la communauté locale, hors classe. L’article offre une réflexion de pratique d’enseignement du FLS en contexte universitaire au Canada, plus précisément dans le cadre d’un cours de communication orale où le projet principal d’apprentissage, appelé reportage, comprend des tâches comme l’entrevue et la présentation magistrale. Ces dernières sont réalisées en partie grâce au travail corporel et aux jeux dramatiques constitutifs du cours de langue.
