L’intégration des unités phraséologiques à l’intérieur de l’approche par les tâches : l’expérience du projet Rêver en français

Abstract
Le but de cet article est de faire part d’une des spécificités du projet Rêver en français , dont l’objectif est le soutien à l’apprentissage du français chez des étudiants internationaux inscrits aux études supérieures. À l’intérieur d’ateliers conçus selon les principes de l’approche basée sur les tâches et mis sur pied afin de répondre aux intérêts et aux besoins déclarés par les étudiants, les connaissances lexicales sont priorisées. Dans le but de construire ces dernières, jugées essentielles à la réalisation des tâches, les apprenants sont invités à s’engager dans des prétâches interactives et dynamiques mettant l’accent sur l’exposition à des mots individuels et à des unités phraséologiques d’utilisation fréquente chez les locuteurs natifs (p. ex. : débarquer de l’autobus, argent comptant). Étant donné les caractéristiques propres aux unités phraséologiques ainsi que les difficultés d’appropriation que ces dernières peuvent causer, trois traitements pédagogiques ont été retenus : 1) la présentation des unités phraséologique en tant qu’entités indivisibles, 2) la mise en évidence de l’input et 3) la fréquence d’exposition. Dans cet article, nous exposons la démarche de conception des prétâches et nous l’illustrons à l’aide d’une sélection de trois prétâches tirées du projet facilitant la réalisation d’une tâche principale.
