La Semaine de la fierté française/acadienne: loisirs et construction identitaire de la jeunesse acadienne et francophone du Nouveau-Brunswick
Bibliographic record
Abstract
For more than a decade, the Semaine de la fierte francaise/acadienne (French/Acadian Pride Week) has been one of the most iconic activities of the francophone youth association Activites-Jeunesse. Through its activities, the event was both a microcosm and a catalyst of concerns and interests of Francophones and Acadians of New Brunswick high schools. True vector and indicator of the debates having preoccupied the French-speaking and Acadian youth of the 1970s and 1980s, this study analyses the role of this event and its activities in shaping identity debates (French-speaking, youth, Acadian and regional), that animated the members of the association.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.
