The main purpose of this paper is to present a decentralization of the automation cabinet, made around the Mitsubishi FX3U programmable controller and describe a remote control of a number of solenoid valves based on RS485 and LiFi technology. LiFi is a novel technology that combines wireless connectivity with lighting, allowing users to enjoy connectivity and lighting in a single system. Based on the recent developments and practical implementations, this technology, due to its numerous benefits, is expected to be applied in many areas as solely wireless communication system, or as a reliable partner of the current wireless transmissions based on radio frequency.
