Abstract
Depuis la création du parti vert en 1984, les écologistes sélectionnent leurs candidats à l’élection présidentielle au moyen d’une primaire. Convaincus par les plus récentes « vagues vertes » des élections européennes de 2019 et municipales de 2020 que l’heure de l’écologie présidentielle est enfin venue, ils cherchaient cette année celui ou celle qui leur permettrait de faire d’une pierre deux coups : prendre le leadership d’une gauche éparpillée et perturber le duel annoncé entre Emmanuel Macron et Marine Le Pen. Un scénario qui n’existe qu’à condition que Yannick Jadot, vainqueur de justesse de la plus ouverte des primaires de l’histoire de l’écologie politique, passe la barre du premier tour.
