La fiction radiophonique comme oeuvre littéraire ? Apports et limites des approches littéraires à l’étude des oeuvres radiophoniques

Abstract
La littérature s’est rapidement saisie de la fiction diffusée à la radio. Perçue d’abord comme un texte plutôt que comme une performance, la fiction radiophonique est alors devenue un genre littéraire, à la différence que sa diffusion se faisait par l’entremise d’un autre type de support : les ondes radio. Cette manière de conceptualiser la fiction radiophonique a toutefois le défaut de laisser de côté toute sa dimension sonore. Pour régler cette lacune, on l’a plutôt rapprochée du théâtre, en appuyant sur sa dimension dramaturgique découlant du jeu des acteurs et sur le travail des bruiteurs. Envisager la fiction radiophonique selon ces deux approches a toutefois ses limites et un retour réflexif sur la catégorisation et sur les enjeux de celle-ci est désormais nécessaire tandis que la numérisation des corpus radiophoniques rend ceux-ci de plus en plus accessibles aux chercheurs et aux chercheuses. Cet article propose ainsi une réflexion sur le positionnement de la fiction radiophonique dans l’écologie des genres littéraires et médiatiques dans l’optique de saisir avec plus d’acuité les enjeux que soulève son étude.
