Abstract
Les plateformes créent-elles des « frontières » ? Pour répondre à cette problématique, nous discutons dans cet article des mécanismes de construction des territoires numériques. À partir de deux terrains portant sur des actions de communication en ligne par des acteurs organisationnels, nous montrons comment leurs territoires numériques se construisent et s’observent par la circulation d’éléments tant sémiotiques qu’informationnels. Cette circulation, que les plateformes contraignent et rendent parfois invisible, repose sur plusieurs agencements et pratiques info-communicationnelles que nous décrivons. Ainsi, nous proposons d’envisager les territoires numériques à la fois comme un outil heuristique pour observer ces agencements, et comme le résultat d’actions de communication soumises aux standards des plateformes.
