Abstract
Cet article présente la première partie (de trois) d’un travail en cours de rédaction qui porte sur les trois dimensions de la communication : le sens, la relation et l’autoréférence du sens et de la relation. Cette réflexion a pour principe de base que les conditions d’exercice de la communication exigent la référence à un sens partagé, constitué par et pour la relation entre les partenaires de l’interaction. L’enjeu principal de cette première partie est de penser la communication dans son rapport à la raison. Pour ce faire, l’accent sera mis sur la référence (le sens) avec pour ancrage la pensée d’Aristote, appuyée des travaux de Pierre Aubenque. La communication peut être pensée comme un espace de médiation non-déterminant, autrement dit un lieu de confrontation dialectique où se construit le sens et dont le résultat est la raison communicationnelle (le raisonnable).
