Abstract

A partir d’une recherche doctorale campée en éducation relative à l’environnement, l’auteure présente la logique inductive qui a sous-tendu sa recherche, de la formulation du problème de recherche jusqu’à la construction du modèle théorique de l’éducation relative à l’environnement en milieu communautaire , principal résultat émergeant de ses travaux. Après avoir présenté une vue d’ensemble de la recherche réalisée, l’approche inductive déployée au sein de cette recherche est caractérisée. Cette approche est surtout explicite dans les choix méthodologiques privilégiés au sein des deux volets de recherche théorique et empirique, mais aussi au regard des modalités d’analyse des données recueillies. En lien avec cette expérience spécifique de recherche, quelques défis et limites de l’approche inductive déployée sont également mis en relief.
