Abstract
Le département de la Mayenne vient de voir s'éteindre l'un de ses enfants les plus attachés à l'archéologie préhistorique.C'est dans la nuit du vendredi au samedi 27 avril que Roger Bouillon est décédé des suites d'une longue maladie.Pourtant, son travail, fondamental pour la Préhistoire de l'Ouest de la France, lui survivra sans peine. 2 Né le 25 septembre 1940 à Saint-Berthevin en Mayenne, Roger Bouillon poursuit un cursus vers l'enseignement qui l'amène à sortir diplômé de l'École Normale de Rennes en 1962.Dès lors instituteur, il poursuit des études à la Faculté des Lettres de Rennes.Il y obtient en 1968 une Maîtrise de Géographie.Trois ans plus tard, il devient professeur certifié et enseignera vingt-neuf ans dans le même établissement, le collège Pierre-Dubois à Laval.
