Abstract
要旨 カナダと米国の間には、経済、文化および環境面において多くの結びつきがあるが、ESD に関し ては大きな違いがある。持続可能な開発それ自体がどのように認識され受容されているかさえ、両 国では全く異なっている。まず、米国で一般的に用いられている用語は "Education for sustainable development" (ESD) ではなく、持続可能性のための教育 "Education for sustainability" (EfS) である。
