Abstract
La proteccion de los sistemas de pago es esencial en una economia globalizada y garantiza los medios mediante los cuales se adquieren bienes o servicios. La falsificacion de tarjetas de credito, debito y cheques de viaje es la modificacion formalmente mas importante del Derecho Penal Economico realizada en el Codigo Penal con la reforma operada por la Ley Organica 5/2010, de 22 de junio. En este estudio se recogen los pronunciamientos mas significativos de la Sala Segunda del Tribunal Supremo sobre esta materia, asi como un analisis de las principales tecnicas de investigacion contra la delincuancia organizada dedicada a estas modalidades delictivas.
