Abstract
Le principal argument théorique développé dans cet article concerne l'influence de l'État sur la reproduction des classes sociales. Cette analyse de la reproduction cherche à montrer comment les politiques de l'État ont complexifié la structure de classes dans l'Italie des années 70, choisie ici comme étude de cas. Sont abordés: les changements survenus dans les formes d'organisation du capital; la nouvelle complexité de la segmentation du marché du travail ; les nouvelles différenciations sociales au sein de chacune des classes sociales ; l'émergence de rôles de citoyens ou l'exclusion de ces rôles ; la reproduction des classes sociales en ce qui a trait à la formation des intérêts socio-politiques; le problème de l'État et du système politique quant au contrôle social et à la représentation politique des intérêts d'un tissu social fragmenté.
