En simulation aux grandes echelles (LES), les grandes structures turbulentes sont explicitement calculees tandis que les effets des plus petites sont modelises en utilisant des modeles de sous maille. Cette formulation permet en combustion turbulente de determiner l'interaction entre les structures coherentes, le degagement de chaleur instationnaire et la pression acoustique qui est responsable du developpement des instabilites de combustion. La validation de la LES en combustion non premelangee, exige la connaissance du melange entre les reactifs, de la position de la zone de reaction et la distribution des gaz brules. Ainsi la chambre de combustion utilisee pour cette etude est concue pour faciliter le diagnostic optique (configuration bidimensionnelle) et les simulations numeriques. Afin d'etudier la reponse de la flamme aux perturbations acoustiques longitudinales, un ingredient clef pour prevoir et analyser les instabilites de combustion, la circulation d'air est modulee par des ondes acoustiques. Ainsi, la fonction de transfert de la flamme est alors determinee en terme d'amplification et de dephasage (modele n-tau). Les indices n et tau extraits a partir des simulations LES du meme bruleur sont en accord avec les donnees experimentales. La distribution des gaz brules et la fraction massique de propane ont ete extraites en utilisant la PLIF simultanee sur le radical OH et la vapeur d'acetone tandis que la vitesse est mesuree avec la PIV. Ces diagnostics montrent que l'excitation acoustique module le melange des reactifs et la distribution des gaz brules, mecanismes principaux de la stabilisation des flammes et que la LES reproduit les tendances observes.
