Abstract
La philosophie Lean prend racines chez Toyota au début des années 1950. Au fil du temps, plusieurs organisations liées aux services ont adopté ce mode de gestion axé sur la création de la valeur pour le client. Ce livre présente plusieurs outils Lean et quinze cas d’implantations qui ont pour objectif de susciter la réflexion lorsqu’on cherche à mettre en place la philosophie de gestion Lean dans son organisation. Il présente des options pour arrimer cette approche à l’organisation plutôt que des réponses définitives. Un des messages à retenir de cet ouvrage, c’est que le doute et l’humilité sont parmi les qualités les plus importantes d’un leader Lean. Sa capacité à apprendre et à développer les compétences de ses collègues, dans un esprit d’expérimentation scientifique, aide à résoudre les obstacles multiples auxquels toute organisation est confrontée.
