Resumo. A imigração involuntária implica em rupturas de projetos de vida. As principais possibilidades de integração no país de acolhimento atravessam o trabalho e a educação. Este artigo visa analisar os impactos psicológicos da imigração em imigrantes haitianos, venezuelanos e sírios cujos projetos de vida acadêmica passaram a ser vislumbrados no Brasil. Para tanto, dez imigrantes participaram deste estudo. Utilizou-se um formulário sociodemográfico intercultural e entrevista semiestruturada que foram analisadas via técnica de análise de conteúdo. Impactos psicológicos da imigração involuntária foram associados às experiências de discriminações e de rupturas de projetos de vida e com a cultura de origem. Além disso, frustrações oriundas da ruptura educacional, de revalidação de diploma e de inclusão universitária foram evidenciados. Entretanto, o sentimento de esperança e a possibilidade de recomeço pela via educacional foram destacados, reforçando a importância da criação e manutenção de políticas de inclusão de imigrantes involuntários nas universidades brasileiras.
