Este artigo refere-se a inclusão das africanias do português brasileiro na sala de aula de Ensino Fundamental. Trata-se de uma manifestação cultural afro-brasileira que soube usar de sua malícia para dialogar com a diversidade cultural de outros países, mas sem perder suas bases epistemológicas afro-brasileiras. Nesta pesquisa aplicando a metodologia da pesquisa bibliográfica procuramos reunir um conjunto de informações que oriente as discussões para uma segunda parte do trabalho, mais prática que é a criação de uma oficina, momento em que teremos a exposição e discussão detalhada de aulas práticas de português tendo a capoeira como foco. Conclui-se que os argumentos nos quais a língua emerge são fundamentais para a interpretação do que é dito, quando, por quem, para quem e para quê, ou seja, para o uso efetivo da língua.
