Abstract
L’article compare les essais Borderlands/La Frontera de l’écrivaine chicana Gloria Anzaldúa et Les identités
 meurtrières de l’écrivain français d’origine libanaise Amin Maalouf. À partir de ces textes, la frontière est définie
 comme un espace où naissent, vivent et meurent des personnes qui font partie de communautés frontalières.
 Ainsi, les êtres frontaliers traversent et sont traversés par les frontières. Pour ces raisons, l’article revendique la
 reconnaissance et le droit aux appartenances multiples, aux identités plurielles, à l’enracinement dans des terres
 différentes qui fusionnent au cours de l’expérience vécue des êtres frontaliers.
