La economía social en España: de un reconocimiento institucional amplio a una concepción práctica estrecha

Abstract
Dadas las evidencias de que existe un incremento del interés por la Economía Social en Europa, y concretamente en España, se plantea como objetivo determinar el reconocimiento institucional de la economía social en España y compararlo con la concepción práctica dentro de la esfera política. Para ello se analiza el discurso político materializado en textos legislativos, las políticas de fomento de la Economía Social y sus presupuestos, y la organización del sector para realizar acciones de incidencia política.Como principal resultado destacar que, pese a la aprobación de la Ley de Economía Social, reflejo de un discurso político ambicioso en términos de reconocimiento y fomento, en la práctica, las políticas de fomento no se han modificado y los presupuestos no se han incrementado.
