Adnotacja.W niniejszym artykule omówiono mechanizmy współpracy kulturalnej Ukrainy i Kanady na przykładzie relacji portowych miast partnerskich Odessy (obwód odeski, Ukraina) i Vancouver (Prowincja Kolumbia Brytyjska, Kanada).Trafność pracy potwierdzają współczesne globalne testy, którym towarzyszą napięcia gospodarcze, pandemia, nastroje militarystyczne i podważanie fundamentów państwowych.To właśnie dziś dla Ukrainy ważne jest, aby utrzymywać stosunki dyplomatyczne z wieloma partnerami strategicznymi, którymi jest przede wszystkim Kanada i wspólnie kierować zasobami na rozwój tradycji kulturowych.Publikacja analizuje genezę zjawiska partnerstwa miast, analizuje działalność ukraińskiej diaspory Kanady, wspólne projekty kulturalne miast partnerskich, twórczość inteligencji odeskiej i organizacji miejskich.Do osiągnięcia celu pozyskano niezbędne źródła, historiografię, a także metody: analizy, metody historyczno-porównawcze i historyczno-genetyczne.Podmiotem prac są stosunki ukraińsko-kanadyjskie, a przedmiotem jest analiza współpracy między Odessą a Vancouverem.Ten artykuł ujawnia pytania dotyczące przejawów polilogii kulturowej różnych grup etnicznych.
