De nombreuses nouvelles de l’écrivain américain George Saunders ont pour cadre un parc à thème. À travers l’analyse sociocritique de deux nouvelles tirées de son premier recueil, Grandeur et décadence d’un parc d’attractions , cet article explore les codes du genre et souligne comment la fiction autoréflexive donne un éclairage particulier à l’héritage de la guerre civile américaine.
