Abstract
L’hybridation résultant d’un processus marginal qui s’oppose à tout système de normes, les créatures hybrides homme-machine bouleversent l’ordre des espèces. La problématique de la création et de la reproduction artistique contemporaine à l’âge industriel fait apparaître la technologie comme menace et potentiel innovant tout à la fois. L’œuvre Cloaca de Wim Delvoye permettra de dégager les enjeux ainsi que la portée critique d’un tel constat.
