Abstract
2nd International Seminar on Natural Resources and Environmental Management (ISeNREM 2021) Bogor, Indonesia. 4th-5th August 2021 Towards a New Era of Natural Resources and Environmental Management Widiatmaka Widiatmaka Indonesia is ranked the fourth most populated country globally after China, India, and the United States, with an estimated population of 270.2 million [1]. It covers an area of 5,193,250 km2 [2], consisting of 1,919,440 km2 dry land, while 3,273,810 km2 of waters with a total of 16,056 islands [2] [3]. The presence of many islands covering a larger area has enabled the country to be ranked the sixth in the world with mega-biodiversity after Sweden, Norway, Finland, Canada, and the United States [4].
