Abstract
Marta Marín‑Dòmine is professor talen en literatuur aan de universiteit Wilfrid Laurier in Waterloo (Ontario, Canada) en directeur van het Centre for Memory and Testimony Studies. Ze bestudeert hoe gewelddadige gebeurtenissen uit het Spaanse en Catalaanse verleden worden weergegeven in literatuur, film en kunst. Daarnaast richt ze zich op de herinnering aan de Joodse genocide en draaide ze de documentaire 1930‑1942. Mémoire juive du quartier Marolles‑Midi, Bruxelles, op basis van zes interviews met overlevenden van de nazikampen die door de Stichting Auschwitz werden opgenomen.
