Abstract Commercial Banking (MIC: 8.1 SIC: 6021 NAIC: 522110) National Bank of Canada operates in three main business segments: the Personal and Commercial segment provides transaction services, grants financing and offers savings and investment services to clients; the Wealth Management segment develops and manages savings and investment services for clients of Co. and its mono‐line subsidiaries, as well as clients of third parties; the Financial Markets segment caters primarily to the needs of corporations and institutions. It participates in capital markets both on behalf of this clientele and Co. As of Oct 31 2006, Co. had total assets of C$116.885 billion and total deposits of C$71.989 billion.
