Abstract
Cet article explore les transformations de l’action publique par la start-up. Il conceptualise un esprit de la start-up entendu au sens wébérien, et en souligne les effets transformateurs. L’analyse de quatre enquêtes de terrain fait ressortir des formes plurielles de « startupisation ** » de l’action publique – c’est-à-dire des transformations variées de l’action publique par la start-up – dont les traits partagés signalent un déplacement commun de l’action publique. Cette analyse met de plus en évidence un encastrement de la start-up dans la bureaucratie, de sorte que la start-up contribue essentiellement à un renouvellement, plutôt qu’à une subversion, de la conduite bureaucratisée de l’action publique.
