Abstract
Le métier de conseiller pédagogique dans l’enseignement supérieur a tendance actuellement à s’institutionnaliser et à se développer. Le présent texte propose une revue de littérature pour tenter de définir ce métier par ses activités, la vision qu’en ont ceux qui l’exercent, ainsi que la façon dont ils évaluent les effets de leurs actions. Plusieurs spécificités du métier sont mises en évidence, dont le fait qu’il se situe actuellement au cœur de plusieurs tensions ou tendances opposées au sein des institutions. Des perspectives de développement du métier sont enfin proposées, touchant à la fois aux missions des conseillers, à leurs actions et à leurs compétences.
