Abstract

Kinerja pegawai memiliki peranan yang fundamental bagi instansi dimana dengan adanya kinerja yang terukur akan mampu memberikan ilustrasi strategi yang dapat mendorong pencapaian visi, misi, dan tujuan instansi, sehingga peneliti tertarik untuk menelaah dan memberikan sumbangsih terhadap kebijakan manajerial. Pengkajian dilaksanakan untuk mengetahui strategi meningkatkan kinerja pegawai melalui komitmen organisasi.Pengkajian menggunakan dua variabel bebas yaitu pendidikan pelatihan dan kompetensi, dan komitmen organisasi sebagai variabel intervening.Populasi pada pengkajian dilakukan secara acak menggunakan teknik random sampling yang menghasilkan sebanyak 65 responden yang telah mengisi kuesioner. Menggunakan regresi linear berganda dalam menghitung hubungan antara variabel bebas dengan variabel intervening dengan Product Moment Pearson untuk menghitung validitas data yang sudah didapat dan Cronbach’s Alpha untuk menghitung reliabilitas data. Hasil dari pengkajian ini ialah : adanya hubungan positif dan bermakna antara pendidikan pelatihan dan komitmen organisasi, adanya hubungan negatif dan tidak signifikan antara kompetensi dan komitmen organisasi, adanya hubungan positif dan tidak signifikan antara pendidikan pelatihan dan kinerja karyawan, hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi dan kinerja karyawan, hubungan positif dan bermakna antara komitmen organisasi dan kinerja pegawai. Kesimpulan yang didapat melalui analisis jalur bahwa baik pengaruh langsung ataupun tidak langsung, variabel kompetensi merupakan jalur yang dominan dibandingkan variabel yang lain
