Abstract
In a recent contribution (Norris and Stutchbury 2002) data were presented in figure 1 that compared male and female extraterritorial movements of Hooded Warblers (Wilsonia citrina) breeding in small, isolated woodlots. However, due to a printer's error, the gradations of shading that differentiated movements of the two sexes was lost. The corrected figure (Fig. 1) showing continuous movements of radiotracked male and female birds is reproduced here. Continuous movements of a female (black arrows) and a male (gray arrows) pair radiotracked during a 2 h session. The male and female were tracked simultaneously by two different observers. Changes in direction represented by the arrows are simplified and time spent at each location varied from <1 min to >20 min. The female left the resident fragment once for a total of 10 min and the male made three extraterritorial forays totaling 35 min.
