Abstract
L’alphabétisation des adultes dans un monde alphabétisé : un paradoxe ? Comment comprendre le développement récent de ce secteur de l’action publique en Europe et en Amérique du Nord ? Qui sont les personnes concernées par les dispositifs d’alphabétisation et comment comprendre leurs situations ? Ce numéro de la revue Les Politiques Sociales étudie les logiques de construction sociale, d’évolution et de diversification de l’alphabétisation dans différents contextes nationaux et régionaux. À travers des contributions provenant du Canada, de la France, de la Norvège et de la Belgique, ce dossier donne un aperçu actualisé des enjeux et défis politiques et pédagogiques de l’alphabétisation en mobilisant plusieurs niveaux d’analyse : la décision politique, les dispositifs d’action mis en oeuvre et les apprenants.
