Abstract
Hipertensi merupakan salah satu penyakit tidak menular yang dapat menimbulkan kematian apabila tidak segera dilakukan pengobatan dengan cepat dan tepat. Angka kejadian hipertensi mengalami peningkatan yang cukup besar di Indonesia yaitu sebanyak 658 ribu jiwa. Komplikasi yang dapat terjadi karena adanya hipertensi seperti stroke, serangan jantung, gagal jantung dan gagal ginjal. Pengobatan hipertensi yang lama memerlukan biaya yang tinggi sehingga perlu adanya upaya dalam mematuhi pengobatan. Kepatuhan pengobatan hipertensi dapat berjalan dengan optimal jika mendapatkan dukungan dari keluarga. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan pengobatan pasien hipertensi di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Widodaren Kecamatan Gerih Kabupaten Ngawi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu kuantitatif korelasi dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling dengan kriteria inklusi didapatkan sampel sejumlah 35 responden. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner dengan uji analisa Chi Square. Hasil Penelitian diperoleh sebagian besar responden berusia 50-59 tahun 42,9%, berjenis kelamin perempuan 74,3%, berpendidikan SD 62,9%, pekerjaan Ibu Rumah Tangga 34,3%, lama menderita hipertensi < 5 tahun 60,0%. Dukungan keluarga baik 54,3%, kepatuhan pengobatan tinggi 54,3%. Hasil uji analisa Chi Square diperoleh ρ = 0,001 yang menunjukan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara dukungan keluarga dengan kepatuhan pengobatan pasien hipertensi. Dengan hasil penelitian ini keluarga diharapkan lebih meningkatkan dukungan yang diberikan karena dapat mempengaruhi keberhasilan pengobatan pasien hipertensi
