Abstract
Basé sur une approche sociologique d’inspiration phénoménologique, cet article met au jour des logiques genrées au sein de la pratique sportive du tir à l’arc, au niveau de l’appropriation de techniques corporelles et dans le cadre plus général des interactions de cette activité. Il souhaite montrer comment l’entraînement des corps avec des objets sportifs spécifiques est pris dans des apprentissages corporels genrés, ce qui contribue à façonner les discours, les expériences vécues et les morphologies des pratiquant.e.s. Cependant, si la bicatégorisation des sexes est à la base du fonctionnement du classement et de la performance sportive, l’enquête présentée ici éclaire aussi sur la manière dont la pratique du tir à l’arc peut parfois ouvrir de nouveaux champs des possibles corporels, déstabilisant temporairement l’ordre de genre.
