Abstract
Les exigences de la lecture historienne sont ici explorées et le recours aux oeuvres de fiction historique (bandes dessinées, romans, films, jeux vidéos, etc.) est réfléchi dans la perspective des compétences de littératie et de la pratique de l’histoire à l’école. Les résultats d’une première mise à l’essai, auprès d’élèves de sixième année, d’un dispositif de lecture dialectique (et multimodale) de bandes dessinées à caractère historique sont présentés et discutés. Ces résultats d’une recherche développement en cours illustrent que des élèves du primaire parviennent à s’engager progressivement dans la lecture interprétative et critique recherchée en histoire, à la condition qu’un dialogue riche autour des oeuvres soit encouragé.
