Abstract
Les industries culturelles et créatives contribuent significativement à la cohésion sociale et à l’emploi des jeunes et des femmes. La Francophonie joue un rôle essentiel dans la valorisation de ces industries, entravées dans leur déploiement en Afrique par des obstacles d’ordre technologique. En donnant la priorité aux initiatives promouvant l’usage des nouvelles technologies, les principaux acteurs du secteur soutiennent le cinéma, l’audiovisuel et la littérature accessibles en ligne dans les pays du Sud, et travaillent à accroître la visibilité en ligne des contenus culturels francophones. Pour ce faire, le Président de la République, Emmanuel Macron, a souhaité la réalisation de projets conférant une grande notoriété à la création francophone : il s’agit des États généraux du livre en langue française et du Congrès mondial des écrivains de langue française qui se sont tenus en septembre 2021, ainsi que l’ouverture, courant 2022, de la Cité internationale de la langue française, au château de Villers-Cotterêts.
