Abstract
Il existe en Belgique francophone 140 radios libres, actuellement. Une majorité d’entre elles sont regroupées au sein de l’Association pour la libération des ondes (A.L.O.). C’est à travers les réalisations de l’A.L.O. que sont ici abordés divers problèmes qui se posent aux radios libres. D’abord, celui de la légalisation des radios longtemps revendiquée, mais que l’on craint maintenant à cause de l’arrivée massive des commerçants et des politiciens sur les ondes. Celui, également de la publicité et, au-delà, du financement des radios. Celui du pluralisme et de ses diverses composantes. Enfin celui du statut des radios comme outils d’action plutôt que comme finalités.
