Abstract
La réunification familiale, ou retour en milieu familial, occupe une place importante dans les systèmes de protection de l’enfance. Elle constitue le projet de permanence privilégié pour un nombre important d’enfants placés en milieu substitut, mais pose tout de même des défis notables aux intervenants et parents appelés à travailler conjointement pour le retour de l’enfant dans sa famille. Les enjeux relationnels que sous-tend la réunification familiale peuvent s’avérer déterminants sur le devenir et la trajectoire des familles. La présente étude se penche sur les relations entre intervenants et parents en contexte de réunification familiale. Elle s’appuie sur l’analyse de 72 entretiens individuels menés auprès de parents et d’intervenants impliqués dans 36 cas de réunifications familiales. Les résultats font état de quatre profils relationnels et identifient les principales caractéristiques associées à chacun d’entre eux.
