Abstract
Cet article présente les résultats d’une recherche réalisée auprès d’élèves québécois de cinquième secondaire (16-17 ans) dans la foulée des grèves étudiantes pour le climat. Nous avons examiné l’engagement des élèves dans la discussion en petits groupes autour d’un enjeu sociopolitique et leur évaluation de la manifestation comme modalité d’engagement sociopolitique. Les résultats obtenus font état d’un engagement cognitif et affectif important des élèves dans leurs pratiques discursives, ainsi que dans l’analyse de l’enjeu que pose l’efficacité de la manifestation comme levier de changement social.
