Abstract
Partant du concept d’objets causes de désir et de la liste de quatre objets prototypiques que Lacan a proposée (voix, regards, sein, étron), l’auteur se demande pourquoi Lacan n’y a inclus ni le pénis, ni le sexe féminin. Se centrant sur le désir des hommes et par conséquent prioritairement sur le sexe des femmes et l’utérus de la mère, il démontre combien les comportements des hommes autant que les œuvres artistiques indiquent que ces « éclats du corps » sont d’importants déterminants du désir sexuel des hommes tout autant que de leurs symptômes et de leurs désirs agressifs, haineux voire destructeurs. Il en conclut qu’il est important que les psychanalystes en parlent plus librement.
