Abstract
On connaît André Schwarz-Bart romancier : mais les dessins présents dans les manuscrits de l’écrivain sont un aspect encore méconnu de sa création. Cet article vise à présenter trois des quelques dessins d’André Schwarz-Bart retrouvés dans ses manuscrits. Ils sont tout à la fois ceux de l’écrivain happé par l’acte de créer, explorant une autre forme de dialogue avec son lecteur ; et ceux de l’écrivain lisant, donnant une forme aux pensées suggérées par sa lecture. Nous explorerons ce lien qui se tisse alors entre la lecture et la création chez André Schwarz-Bart par le biais du dessin.
