A educação na pandemia passou a pautar as discussões de especialistas na área, pois o ensino remoto se tornou o caminho para manutenção dos alunos na prática e no aprendizado escolares. Os professores de Língua Inglesa da educação básica tiveram que adaptar as suas estratégias para o ensino remoto, para promover a aprendizagem dos alunos. O objetivo geral deste estudo é discutir sobre a prática de ensino de Língua Inglesa na modalidade de ensino remoto. Este estudo se qualifica como uma pesquisa bibliográfica. O desenvolvimento deste estudo se embasa na importância de se repensar as práticas e pedagógicas e todos os componentes do processo de ensino-aprendizagem neste cenário de pandemia de novo coronavírus. O ensino de língua inglesa na modalidade ensino remoto passou por modificações em suas práticas pedagógicas, em decorrência do distanciamento social decretado na situação pandêmica do novo coronavírus no país.
