Abstract

Ancré dans le contexte canadien de la réconciliation entre peuples autochtones et non autochtones, cet article se base sur la littérature anglo-saxonne pertinente dans le domaine pour revisiter certaines notions et pratiques pédagogiques liées au champs de l'interculturel. La recherche se base sur une analyse de pratique de l'enseignante-chercheure ainsi que sur l'analyse thématique de travaux réalisés par des étudiants en éducation, futurs enseignants en formation initiale. Après avoir pointé quelques écueils pédagogiques à éviter, l'article propose quelques pistes de pratiques de classe prometteuses, parmi lesquelles l'apprentissage par le service à la communauté, l'immersion en milieu communautaire et la pédagogie de la terre.
