Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The complexity of peace leadership requires an interconnected approach, with a focus on the interrelated whole. Indigenous ways of knowing offer a foundation integral to the evolution of the understanding of peace leadership and its practical implications. In this chapter, the seven teachings and the métis core values are explored as examples of Indigenous ways of knowing that are grounded in the honouring of the web of life, with a focus on a moral respect for all living things. This is the underpinning of what is required for peace leadership and its practical implications today – a re-centering in the inextricable links between all beings and peace leaders as a component of the greater whole. What is also required is the creation of ethical spaces. Through storytelling, important teachings are shared; they provide guiding lights and a sense of connection to the greater whole. They also offer an important connection to recognizing that at the heart of peace leadership are the individual gifts we each have.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
