Abstract
Partant des observations relevées par Marilyn Randall dans le dernier chapitre de Les femmes dans l’espace rebelle (2013), l’article propose une analogie du roman historique et du roman jeunesse, suivie d’une réflexion sur la représentation de la marginalité féminine dans une littérature destinée à un jeune lectorat. Au-delà d’une visée commune, soit instruire et divertir, de nombreux aspects narratifs et réceptifs unissent ces deux sous-genres romanesques et peuvent expliquer le traitement réservé à l’imaginaire de la marginalité, plus spécifiquement de la marginalité des femmes et des filles.
