Marilyn Randall est professeure émérite au Département d’études françaises à l’Université Western Ontario à London (Canada) où elle a enseigné la littérature québécoise et la théorie littéraire. A l’occasion de sa retraite, nous sommes revenues sur certains moments clés de sa carrière et sur les choix et les circonstances qui ont orienté son œuvre critique, que ce soit sa collaboration avec Janet Paterson pour l’édition critique de Trou de mémoire d’Hubert Aquin, son intérêt pour le roman de la Révolution tranquille, la pragmatique du plagiat littéraire ou la figure du Patriote et la représentation des femmes à l’heure des Rébellions 1837-38 au Québec. L’interview a été réalisé en août 2021.
