X-Ray baggage security screening is frequently employed to maintain aviation and transportation security, and it presents a significant image-based screening burden for human operators who must analyse compact, cluttered, and highly variable baggage contents in a short amount of time. In a manual scan, however, it is simple to miss some details.With the rapid advancement of Deep Learning algorithms such as Convolutional Neural Networks, their utility in a range of domains such as Machine Translation and Image Processing has been demonstrated. In order to implement successful object detection, accurate object detection models, such as Single Shot Detector (SSD)[9] (see fig. 2), must be examined.
