Abstract
Le terrain du biographique offre matière aux intellectuels de l’ère coloniale comme René Maran pour explorer le sujet politique à travers la question de la représentation (ou figuration) dans son discours biographique. Cet article s’intéresse davantage à la modalité par laquelle Maran réinterprète et représente le biographique qui devient matière à une réflexion sur le sujet politique dans ses écrits sur les grandes figures coloniales dont Félix Éboué constitue un point de repère paradigmatique. À travers cette figure, Maran réinterroge le rapport à l’historicité créée par la mise en narration.
